This is the brother of my friend :iconxgameoverx:, watercolour, 9" by 12". It's based on this photo: [link] . Pretty good likeness, I think. :)
I am led to believe that this is a surprise gift, so no telling. ;)

I really love how you do the skin tones Chris  and the lettle chain must have been a pain too ;)

Thanks! The scanner made the skin tones a little washed out, but not too bad. The chain was actually pretty easy. I just kind of left a white line-glob and put little dark lines on it here and there. :D

Pepper actually found me a really nice scanner/printer/fax. Great with digital prints, but like all scanners I've ever run into, it fails to get the image quite right. :( I may stick to her fancy-schmancy outrageously expensive camera. :D

Okay, that was probably the oddest image search I've ever done, but you're right - they're really pretty! :D The gallery has an Epson CX7000F - not much to look at, but geez, the print quality is incredible. :)

I was trying to figure out what this was about, then realised we were on about our scanners :D this one prints well but when i scan it always sucks so much out, i have to adjust the brightness and contrasts. I'm sure if i sat and read the manual it would do what i want but i just can't be bothered :lmao:

They come with manuals? :D Gee, I thought that was just part of the packing materiel. Hey, we're guys - we don't read manuals!

Chicks dig ponytails. Except on us old bald guys - I tried it once, and it just looked pathetic on me. :D

Isn't it strange how when we're little, we think of things as so difficult and worrisome, and then it just gets more and more so as we get older. :D Or perhaps the worries are just different. :D

Thank you very much! I use a ruined flat blush (the bristles have seperated) for hair a great deal - I get more control and a softer look than I would if I used a grass brush or a fan brush. :)

Thanks! I thought the hair turned out pretty well. ^_^ I have this flat brush that the bristles have seperated on, and I use it a lot for animal fur, but it seems to work pretty well with people, too.
