I painted this one on Saturday just for fun because I've always wanted to paint a crab. No, I'm serious. Stop laughing, you. :D

I like this one, personally. I may do a series in different colours. I decided after painting him that I liked the colours so much that there was no point in risking losing him into the painting by adding a background. The "clean" look works pretty well, I think.

This is watercolour with acrylic spatter, 7" by 14". The full view lets you see a bit more detail. Original sold.

Hi. I really like your work. It's beautifully done.

I was wondering if I might use it somewhere for a school project. I have to make a menu for culinary arts and we named our restaurant the Blue Crab. I'll give you full credit for the art of course.

Thank you very much! ^^ I certainly don't mind a bit, and I thank you sincerely for asking. I've had a few unpleasant surprises in seeing my work wind up in places without my permission, but if they'd just asked and credited... I'll e-mail you a large file you can work with easily (without the stinky old watermark). :D

Thanks! This one is one of my favourites, too; isn't it funny how when we paint for fun, we like it a lot more than if we have to paint? :D This little guy's already sold, too; I think I'd better have a go at another. ;)
