Today's work. This is a portrait of a couple in 1951. Well, obviously. I painted this one from an old black and white photograph, and consulted the owner of the painting regarding what colours she'd like. One of my better portraits, I think. :)
This is watercolour, 11" by 14".

Wow! Thanks very much! I try to get pretty heavy on the detail work in my watercolour portraits (I guess people like their portraits to actually look like the subject!). It's taken some practise to get to the point that I'm comfortable with portraiture, but this one was one I was particularly happy with. ^_^
